Should I Invest in Branding (Logo, Colors, Templates) Before I Start Posting?

A basic, clean brand, a decent logo and a couple of consistent colors, is worth having in place before you start posting regularly, but don't let a lack of a perfectly polished brand identity stop you from getting started right now. Plenty of contractors have built genuinely strong followings with simple, honest content well before ever investing heavily in formal branding.

When to Tighten Up Your Branding

Once you're posting consistently and have a real sense of what's actually working for your audience, that's a great natural time to tighten up the visual side of things, consistent colors, maybe simple graphic templates for things like text overlays or job recap posts.

Branding Supports Content, Not the Other Way Around

Branding should support content that's already genuinely working for you, not replace the fundamental need to make good, honest content in the first place. Too many contractors delay posting entirely while waiting for a perfect brand identity that isn't actually necessary to start.
